MLN-02 is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis.
Cơ Chế Tác Dụng : MLN-02 is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis. MLN02 is an investigational, novel monoclonal antibody that binds to a T- cell integrin, alpha4beta7, and has been shown to prevent the migration of T- cells to the gut in laboratory studies. Increased T-cell trafficking is believed to play a role in the pathogenesis of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel diseases). MLN02 is also being evaluated in an ongoing phase II clinical trial for ulcerative colitis. MLN02 is being developed in collaboration with Genentech, Inc., which holds exclusive worldwide commercialization rights.
