Galiximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody which is used as an immunosuppressive drug.
Dược Lực Học : Galiximab is a monoclonal antibody that is being studied in the treatment of follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Monoclonal antibodies are made in the laboratory and can locate and bind to cancer cells. Galiximab binds to the protein CD80, which is found on certain normal and cancerous white blood cells.
Cơ Chế Tác Dụng : Galiximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody which is used as an immunosuppressive drug. Galiximab, an IgG(1) anti-CD80 antibody, binds to CD80, a costimulatory molecule involved in T-cell activation. Reduction in lesional, activated T cells induces improvement in psoriatic plaques.
